Hi

Sorry for this question but how dou save a script with Text Edit on a mac?
Writing just .jsx at the end does not seem to work.

Make sure you set your Finder to show the file extensions. This can be easily done with tools like OnyX. This should give correct behavior.

By default, TextEdit documents are Rich Text. Make sure you choose Format->Make Plain Text before saving. Of course, you could always just use ExtendScript Toolkit, which comes with AE, to edit your scripts. It has syntax highlighting and debugging tools, among other useful features.
