bouncing ball tutorial in ae 6.5

am trying to create a karaoke bouncing ball that comes to life in a short film. does anyone have any hints.

I'd set markers * matching the audio. I'd also use expression slider controls so you can separately animate posx and posy. What do you need help with?

thanks for your help david. I'm a bit of a newbie and am looking for a more comprehensive tutorial that I may be able to follow closely. I am trying to bounce a ball along the text, (like a karaoke ball) and then be able to move it and make it bigger smaller. I'm having problems creating a bouncing motion.
