My After effects doesn't have the CC Cylinder Effect!??
I installed it and I watched a tutorial, but my AE doesn't have the CC Cylinder addon/plugin! Why?
Can anyone help?

Which version of AE? Is it full retail or educational?

Different versions have different installers so we can't help if we don't know.

But what version?

In all versions of AE CS3, the CC plugins are automatically installed.

In AE 7.0 Full Retail, you need to manually install them from the install disk after you install AE.

In AE 7.0 (and prior) Educational & Trial versions, they are not included.

Are you on a Mac? Perhaps one more case of PPC vs. intel and the plugins not showing up due to the wrong versions being installed?

go back to your installation disk and search it for the CC filters.
Let us know if they're there.

Was this a retail purchase version of AE, or was it download?

Out of curiosity, do you happen to have Effect/Keying/Keylight (1.2), and Effect/Synthetic Aperture/SA Color Finesse 2?
